ALERT! System Enrollment
To enroll in or update your contact information in ALERT!, Fort Drum's authoritative source for messaging during emergencies and other administrative issues, use the “Enroll” button and follow the steps below.
Important note: Access to ALERT! is only available from a government computer.
Log into the system using your CAC
Click on “Contact Information” and ensure your information is correct
Click on “Family Members” and input or update information for any family members or dependents you wish to receive ALERT! notifications

Priorities may shift based on conditions and school schedules.
In the event of a major snow event, one initial lane will be cleared on all main roads, with widening to follow as conditions allow.
Salt is only used on the roads and in front of bus stops/mailbox kiosks. Salt is not used on the sidewalks. Please wear appropriate footwear and exercise caution.

Disconnect your water hoses from the outside of your home
Keep your heat on! If your family leaves for any length of time, leave your thermostat at a minimum of 60 degrees

Weather Watch: The potential for weather which poses a threat to life or property exists.
Weather Warning: Weather which poses a threat to life or property is imminent or occurring.
Weather Advisory: A special notice provided to an operational user to notify them of environmental conditions impacting operations.
Besides the ALERT! system, use local media, visit the Fort Drum installation status page, or call 315-772-3786 for winter road conditions and reporting status.
